Leaving In The Morning

This trip has been really great so far, I've been able to experience some of the history and some of the culture of Paris. I feel like I've made a lot out of my time here and would like to come back in not to long, and maybe stay for awhile.

These are some pictures from the past two days.

Today Was Graphic

Today was still rainy for most of the morning then it cleared up and was sunny for awhile. We spent a lot of the day in the Louvre but the rest of the day I spent cruzing around and found some interesting stuff.

Rainy Day

When't up to the top of the Cathedral Notra Dame and checked out the gargoyles. Then it started to rain, which was so nice, and continued to do so for the next few hours pretty heavily and then off and on the rest of the afternoon and night. And French girls are even prettier in the rain.

Police

There was some kind of ceremony going on at the Arc De Triumph the day that we tried to go but it probably made things more interesting anyway . The had the whole area gated off and heavily patrolled by Police and Guard s I think because the French President was at the ceremony and I think he is in the car behind the police officer in the third picture.

Hangin Out

This area of Paris was really interesting and far from refined, I got to meet some pretty interesting characters and found myself in some very interesting situations. The leather dealers were a riot, and I hung out with them for like an hour. Watching the construction workers cuss at each other in about ten different languages was very funny as well and watching them work was pretty interesting. The guys gambling on the street were pretty interesting as well though they weren't to fond of me and my camera. We had a street artist draw a portrait of my sisters and I, he was pretty cool. Then some random very euro-style guy wanted me to take his picture then he made fun of me with his friendsfor awhile, but neither of us like George Bush so were cool.
